ddg is my favorite search engine and it has great restutes. It has a built in video player too! The only problem is that i have to use google in a blue moon to get the results it need. Duckside! Brave! Lunix!

Taking the actual example you provided, I can understand the issue. Since it amounts to blurring images of a virtual character, that are not actually "naughty." Equivalent images in bulk quantity are available on every search engine with "yennefer witcher 3 game" [1][2][3][4][5][6] Returns almost the exact generated images, just blurry. The framing of this as a Google issue would suggest that other search engines wouldn’t have this issue, but I’m not sure that’s true? The “air purifier” search on DDG seems to give the same set of blogspam results: https://duckduckgo.com/?t=h_&q=best+air+purifier+for+pet+hair&ia=web Can someone with Kagi check to see if Kagi does better here? - Source: Hacker News / 7 days ago

I don't really understand what you mean by "Copying the search url to 'site search' doesn't work" 1. Go to "Manager search engines and site search" 2. Click "Add" next to "Site search" 3. Add DuckDuckGo with the URL "https://duckduckgo.com/?q=%s" 4. Save, click the additional menu, and make it the default 5. All address bar searches now happen in DuckDuckGo What's stopping this from working? - Source: Hacker News / 9 days ago
Somewhat ironically, you mentioned the Google results were unhelpful. But, the DDG results for this search look pretty reasonable. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=add+duck+duck+go+to+default+search+in+chrome&va=c&t=hd&ia=web The first hit: https://duckduckgo.com/set-as-default It even has instructions for how to add DDG if it isn’t in the default list. - Source: Hacker News / 9 days ago
Https://duckduckgo.com/?q=airbnb+trashed+house&t=fpas&ia=web I acknowledge the above comment re vomit in car is an edge case, and so are the links I attached. But to suggest this doesn't occur in Airbnb, and wouldn't occur with a car share service is naive. - Source: Hacker News / 10 days ago

Of course I looked, I'm a big fan of (sanctioned) street art and was expecting to see 27 stories wonderfully engulfed in a creative dreamworld. Strong agree as well. Where I'm from there's a famous local dish called "xis" (from "cheese" as a short for cheeseburger). It's got most of what you'd find in a burger: a patty (or alternative), lettuce, tomatoes, sauces, mayonnaise and whatever else makes into each choice of xis. It's usually made in wide bread and after assembled, pressed in a big sandwich maker. It's sometimes served in a small plastic bag... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago

I posit that even without a lovense it's still very problematic if you are in a 'committed' relationship with 'real boyfriend'. I believe more and more people are realizing the emotional cheating (https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=emotional+infedelity&ia=web_ ) can be as damaging to a relationship as one that includes physical intimacy. Of course it depends on the ground rules of the relationship - there are many... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago
