Transparency: Even if what Google is doing is above board, it'd be nice to have a certain level of transparency. Why are they burying Rumble? (they're a competitor, hate speech on the platform, etc..) Can we see a list of websites that get buried or prioritized? It was 1997 and I was in fourth grade. Our teacher made us all go to the computer lab to look up stuff related to an assignment on a search engine, and I clearly remember the search engine was dogpile.com. Looking back, this wasn't at all necessary, our teachers were just trying to get us exposed to this new thing that would obviously one day be a huge part of our lives. As an FYI, before DDG I used the search engine dogpile.com I just checked, the search engine is still up and it did not give me a lot of useless stuff when I searched for "soft soap with floating hearts" in quotes, of course. Source: about 2 years ago
Ha! Well, if it is a mod that was deleted after the update back in June then all you have to do is search the mod name to find the link for it and then add "?tab=files&file_id" after the mod number and search for that on a weird search engine such as dogpile.com and a link to the file will likely come up.
