I have been using yahoo mail for quite some time. However, I am not really impressed with their product or their improvements. Since 2013 I had issues regarding hacking, their advertisement placement is very frustrating, their platform is very slow and these factors are some to name a few. An alternative email platform that I would recommend and I am currently using is Milfence which offers an secure email service offering end to end encryption and a protected platform.
Based on our record, GMX seems to be more popular. It has been mentiond 18 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.

First I tried with gmail but they have removed the allow less secure apps thing and in order to use the smtp you have to turn on 2fa and use their api which I'm not gonna do. So I tried using different mail providers like mail.com gmx.com inbox.lv fastmail.com But every time I try to send a mail I connect to the server but get authentication failed exception. If you just want to use it for sending notifications from your server, create an account with a provider that allows password login. I use gmx.com for that. They allow password login and have IMAP/SMTP access for free. Source: over 1 year ago
