Yes, it is better than TeamViewer for RASPBERRY PI. More specifically, Raspberry Pi 3B+. Tried TeamViewer before but it was so slow, not about the connection but something about the processing power required by the TeamViewer. DWService is smoooooth. It is web-based (unlike TeamViewer) to access the remote client, and it requires agent installation on the remote client which is easy in Raspberry Pi, and also Windows PC.
DWService might be a bit more popular than UltraViewer. We know about 19 links to it since March 2021 and only 14 links to UltraViewer. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
With the fallout from FUD with TeamViewer, Management at the company I'm at has blocked TeamViewer. However, we have vendors that need access, and as long as it's not TeamViewer we have the OK to proceed forward. Some of my workmates are going for UltraViewer, does have the same results? So, I've been searching for TeamViewer alternatives and the only one that seems to be on par is UltraViewer. Source: almost 2 years ago
So (also we are a non-profit, though it seems like most of these companies don't really give discounts) what is the software that has the closest to the ease of use and functionality of TeamViewer? And somewhat affordable (affordable equals a max of $500 a year, preferably allows as much as the free TeamViewer version does. I have been told to use UltraViewer, would you guys recommend it? Has anyone else used it?... Source: almost 2 years ago
Not sure if I should post this here. I'm looking for an alternative to Teamviewer, I would prefer a free opensource alternative but doesn't have to be. I would like it to be just an executable that they click on and I'm connected. I have tried Anydesk, and Parsec but I have not been satisfied. I am yet to try UltraViewer, I have heard it’s good, and I am hoping it will work. Do you guys have any other suggestions? Source: almost 2 years ago
Does anyone have any experience with the alternatives? We have been asked to switch to UltraViewer, has anyone used it before? Does it yield the same results? Source: almost 2 years ago
Other then that, dwservice.net give you full control via a browser or Rust Desk if you want teamview experience. Source: 10 months ago
I use dwservice.net to access my systems (1 Ubuntu headless and 1 Ubuntu GUI) and am loving it. Source: 11 months ago
I was using Chrome Remote Desktop, but when I reinstalled the system I couldn't get it working again. Now I'm using dwservice.net. The agent gives you a file browser, a shell, a text browser, and a full desktop all within a browser instance. Seems to work well for my purposes. Source: 11 months ago
Use dwservice (dwservice.net). It is free and works even when no monitor is connected. Source: over 1 year ago
Dwservice.net should, in theory, work, but I haven't suceeded (I think I needed to enable write mode but havent tried again). Source: over 1 year ago
