They’re good courses. While you’re here you should check out Blue Ribbon. It’s in East Bethel, but it was built by a landscaping company and is pretty amazing. Everything is on UDisc if you have the app. Source: 8 months ago
Thanks for the recommendation. I just checked it out on udisc.com and it looks great. Convenient for me as I can get on 64 quickly. Source: 11 months ago
Once you know what route you are going to take, use Udisc (udisc.com if you don't have the app) to look for courses along the way. I drive from Missoula to Michigan multiple times every year and can often find new courses to play during the drive. Source: 11 months ago
It's great! Give it a try. What's the brand of the discs you saw? If it's one of the main brands they'll work great. I've never heard of a basket costing $25 so that's weird. Not sure what's up with that. I'd just get a starter pack of 3 or 4 discs that most of the companies sell and find a nearby course and have fun. Download the udisc app or go to udisc.com to find courses. Source: 12 months ago
Disc golf is a hoot if you have a course at one of those parks. Lots of built-in comedy. Source: about 1 year ago
With regard to available datasets, you can try asking the PDGA or UDisc if they're willing to provide hole-by-hole data exports but it's unlikely they will do so, or it may take a while. The best fast source I'm aware of would be selecting, copying & pasting hole scoring data into Excel pages from events where the European Metrix scoring software is used. https://discgolfmetrix.com/.
