  • Distrobox for running Termius
I use SteamOS and really wanted to use termius on it but this distro immutable. I found out about Distrobox and thought it might help so I made a Ubuntu container and installed some dependencies and then termius but when I tried to run it I got this:. Source: 3 months ago

Check out Termius its similar to Secure CRT but is more user friendly in my opinion. Source: 10 months ago
  • I built my own tool to access all my servers - Let me know what you think!
I always wanted to have an easy connection overview and file access to all of my homelab servers, including things like docker containers and WSL instances that run on them. I have also always been a fan of GUI remote file managers like WinSCP, Termius, Muon (I just prefer them to the CLI workflows) but sadly they only work if you can connect via SSH or FTP based protocols. While it's trivial to connect to a top... Source: 11 months ago

  • How to Self-host Supabase: A complete guide
To connect to the VPS I just purchased, the simplest way is to use the ssh command in the command line. However, using this method, we will have to type this command and enter the password every time. A better method would be to use SSH clients such as PuTTY which is free. I will be using Termius since it has a nice interface and is free for students. - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago

  • What kind of applications are missing from the Linux ecosystem?
I've found Tabby does a good job and is Cross-Platform to you can use on Windows too. It can run any installed shell, serial connections and ssh. You can create profiles. It needs some work to be fully functional in Wayland i.e. Autohide feature doesn't work. But that's a graphical issue. Though, if you're just after creating and organising SSH profiles not terminal emulation, Remmina already has you covered.... Source: 10 months ago

Just in case you didn't know that a project called Tabby exists (it was Terminus). It's a terminal (another one you could say). It's not my project, I'm just a user. https://tabby.sh/. - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago

  • Good terminals for Windows?
While Windows Terminal is excellent for most of my purpose (the jumplist integration is unmatched), if you often use it for SSH, try Tabby, it automatically lists the profiles listed in your SSH config so you don't need to manually add yet-another-profile, there's a built-in SFTP integration to quickly upload & download files on the current folder and port forwarding.
