  • Some questions about the new AI song covers popping up
I recently made a recording of my song Postcards from Hell using Synthesizer V. It’s certainly not perfect, but I feel pretty good about it for a first time out. Synthesizer V is conceptually similar to Vocaloid, but it appears to me to be significantly better for realism. That’s just from listening to examples, though; I never used Vocaloid. • What is this AI Virtual Singer Maker Software?
Synth V is much better. Here is a song I did in Studio One with Synth V. This was using the Pro version which allowed Synth V to act as a plugin within Studio One. There is a basic version of the software that is free to use for non-commercial work; however, the free versions are lite versions that are not quite as nice and the basic version is a standalone program only. • Solitude Project Saturday: What projects are you working on that pertain to your (special) interests? Weekly post #277
I do, though the song I linked was sung by a vocal synthesizer (Synthesizer V). I do have other songs, but the last singing I recorded was nine and a half years ago. My voice has degraded since then, and even though I love to sing, it was always a makeshift thing in the first place. So after I wrote this I looked at the current state of singing voice synthesis and decided to use Synthesizer V. It took around... Source: 9 months ago

  • Untrained vocals as an aesthetic choice
I hate my voice, and can't even sing anymore even if I wanted to. I don't know how you'd feel about it, but after four instrumental albums, I got the Emvoice plugin, which has been a game changer for me. I'm working on my next album and have written 5 tracks with it so far. I figure I'm writing the lyrics and creating all the melodies and harmonies, so it's like I hired singers. The UI is a bit clunky and it takes... Source: about 1 year ago
  • How do you guys find singers?
Have you heard about the EmVoice One plug-in? You can download it from their website emvoiceapp.com And the demo is for free. It shows what’s possible, but just not in the full range. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Vocal Plugins for bad singers?
Not what you had in mind, but EmVoice makes a couple of surprisingly good sounding synthetic vocalists. I used some on a few of my songs here (the on top, with Keela and Lucy). Source: about 1 year ago
  • Billy Corgan says AI systems will completely dominate music.
I use https://emvoiceapp.com/ 's Keela with pretty convincing results. Much better in my opinion than vocaloid. I've had people asking me where did I find such a good singer for my songs. Source: about 1 year ago
