I'm on Quicken for Windows Release 48.9 and Build 27.1.48.9. Haven't been asked to sign in to quicken.com for quite awhile. I've had no issues or crashes with the release. You may want to do a file validate or super validate. Source: 11 months ago

I just checked the quicken.com website. I'm not sure because I've never tried it, but you probably get a number of devices to install it on. It gives me links to both Windows and Mac versions, but I only have installed the Windows. Source: over 1 year ago
My mortgage holder, Wells Fargo, no longer offers HELOCs. I browsed bankrate.com and nerdwallet.com and see many providers, but only a few banks. I do not recognize many of the companies on the list. (Ex: https://www.nerdwallet.com/mortgages/heloc-rates). Source: 7 months ago
I would try renting first and when you are happy where you are and with your job for awhile consider getting a new homebuyers loan. Also, you need to work on your credit for that to happen. Call a bank and ask about a prepaid credit card. Then use that card to pay a small monthly bill (3-7% of the allotted credit) that you can have taken straight out of your checking account (at that same bank or a different one).... Tough choice between Minneapolis and Portland. I'd stay away from DC personally. I love it here in Minnesota, but have friends just outside Portland who like it there as well. Both areas have good schools in the suburbs and are great cities.
