It has been over 4 months since I placed my order, & I STILL don't have my completed order. On January 20th I expressed my desire for a remake and sent multiple emails in an effort to provide the Cuddle Clones team with descriptions and photos of the ways in which the originally delivered product failed to capture my dog at the same level of quality and detail advertised on their website (even after I had provided an additional 14 images when I placed my order to ensure maximum accuracy). Thus, in actuality, this remake process has now taken a total of over 2 months, and will likely take another 1-2 months. I emailed on February 22, February 27, March 15th, and March 21st to confirm they received the plush for remake and to get status updates. Their team confirmed receipt of the plush and commencement of the remake process. However, I on March 23rd I was told that over the previous 5 weeks nothing has been done, no one reached out to me to notify me of any delays or issues which would cause a delay, and instead was told it could take another 5-6 weeks before I receive the remake back.
Instead of recognizing the opportunity to uphold the high standards of quality and detail they advertise on their website, they tried to simply offer a refund and wash their hands of the failure. I refused the refund, as my service dog had recently passed away and it was important to me to commemorate our bond & 10+ year friendship by having the product I was advertised and already paid for.
As you read this, you may also be wondering why there are so few negative reviews... That would be because the company uses the customer satisfaction email to filters negative reviews directing those who indicate intent to leave a negative review through to an alternative submittal form. In order to leave an HONEST review, I have to indicate I intended to leave a positive review so that I would be directed to the sites where the reviews are actually visible.

You are definitely not being dramatic at all! Pets are very close to our hearts and are family! ❤️ My husband and I had to put down his 14 year old dachshund named Hershey last June and it hit us hard. We were both sobbing at the appointment, but we knew it was time to let him go as he was clearly suffering from multiple issues that were causing him severe pain. So don’t be afraid to let yourself grieve after he... Source: 12 months ago

Maybe look for a company that makes custom pet plushies? You might be able to get a stuffed animal made to specifically look like your bf’s kitty. My Petsies and Cuddle Clones are two companies I know about. Source: about 1 year ago

So I'm actually used both of these companies within 3 months of each other. The first one was through Petsi, for my dad's dog. I feel like the turnover rate was quick. The detail was amazing, even down to a broken area in the tail from a previous injury he had.... My dad loved him and I would do it again for the money, because the happiness on his face was worth it all. ....three months later my own dog passed away that I've had for almost 14 years. This time I ordered through cuddle clones, and I will say the same. Wonderful detail they let you put in any specific details you would like to put in also. Didn't even mention one of the scars on her nose and that was included in the stuffed animal that was sent to me. And this one is by far bigger than the previous company I used and it was pretty much the same cost also. This one also includes a zipper in case she wanted to store anything. The biggest thing I think people should remember. Send as many pictures as you can. And everything they ask for. Make sure you send the correct image. Feel like that's the biggest thing. Also, if there's an option to pay for a preview .... pay for it, it's worth it. You'd rather pay an extra $20 instead of get something that you paid $300 for and be upset. Long story short, I was actually happy with both companies. I think it is all personal preference of who you go with.
