Working with Nomachine for a few years now. It just works. It is fast and pretty easy to setup. There are often updates and the update prices is very good also. I tried loads of other remote control tools, but Nomachine just works the best.
Based on our record, Xrdp should be more popular than NoMachine. It has been mentiond 11 times since March 2021. I occasionally use NoMachine to use a GUI to run games on VPSs that don't have a GPU of any kind. NoMachine creates an X11 server on the VPS and I can then access it as a graphical desktop. You can't do that on Wayland. Source: 9 months ago
If you don't mind a slight latency when playing, you can use Parsec, NoMachine or Jump Desktop. Connect to your PC via Ethernet or Thunderbolt to get the lowest possible latency. Source: 10 months ago
