Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I understand, if you just go to netflix.com and subscribe to their 4k content you don't get the 4k video, you need a streaming box or some kind of dedicated program. Perhaps to stop pirates... But think about how many poor sods are paying for quality they don't even get. Source: 3 months ago
Anyone have issues accessing some sites? Just to let everyone know its happening on every device in my home not just one. For example I cannot get to imdb.com I get 403 error but I can get to netflix.com. I can get to all sites if I connect to a vpn first. So its something with atts network but not sure what. Man, been clicking the dvd.netflix.com on my folder to check on queue at least once a week out of habit but deep inside knowing it's not coming back. Muscle memory sucks. Source: 3 months ago
I love the Trim extension for Chrome/Firefox to show reviews of Netflix movies inside the netflix.com site. However, several weeks/months ago, the Metacritic reviews stopped showing up. The developers haven't replied on the extension review system, but I'm wondering if anyone knows why it's happening. Source: 4 months ago
I am struggling to add netflix.com to route it to india.. it always says Failed to add smart Route list. Source: 4 months ago
At least for the last point I can recommend jellyfin. It has a web interface, a android tv app and an iphone app. I use it on my phone, tv and in the browser. https://jellyfin.org/. - Source: Hacker News / 24 days ago
It's a pain to get set up initially, but the Automatic Ripping Machine[1] plus Jellyfin/Plex/etc[2] makes for a great combination. [1] https://github.com/automatic-ripping-machine/automatic-ripping-machine. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
