Namecheap's answer:
Based on our record, Namecheap should be more popular than Google Domains. It has been mentiond 170 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
However, a key one to check out is Google Domains, because this is the only registrar which sells .dev domains. My advice is that .com is still the best if you can get one, so if there's one available that you like then go for it, but if not then .dev could be a great alternative. - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
The website is still up https://domains.google/. Source: 8 months ago
Interesting that nothing is mentioned at the https://domains.google/ home page (not that surprising) nor inside the management console about this. I'd have expected at least a info header somewhere once logged in. Source: 9 months ago
Yet https://domains.google/ is has no mention of it and still invites people to move their domain to Google.... - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
If you want to, you can go to Google Domains, https://domains.google search for the domain name you want, register it, and go straight to setting up email. Source: 9 months ago
Check porkbun.com, namesilo.com, then namecheap.com. They offer most but not all TLDs but each offers a few the other doesn't. There are some that none of them offer so you can try GoDaddy but they're pricey. Those three are among your best bets for long term low pricing. Source: 3 months ago
Namecheap.com :) your welcome. Been a happy client for more than 5 years or even more. Source: 3 months ago
I would like to setup a small server at home. Prior to doing this, I needed to move my DNS records from Namecheap. I am planning on using Cloudflare's free plan to host my DNS and also front the services once I have migrated the zone first. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
After brainstorming some domains you should go to a domain registrar website like namecheap.com and check the availability of your desired domains. If your top pick was already taken, don't stress, this happened to me too and to many other website creators. - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
Looking at the domain, it was registered on 5/23/2023 through namecheap.com (a scammers paradise). Hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. Source: 6 months ago
