Presumably you mean linphone. You got freephoneline.ca or fongo.com working on linphone? If so, what are your settings, because simply filling in username, password and voip server is not working with those two on linphone, although can easily register voip.ms accounts. Source: 11 months ago

SIP and VoIP are different animals that share some things in common.
